After having taken the ASC course, and having passed class 6, I felt that a lot of my skills were not well developed and worse, I did not know how to make them more solid. I found him on the New Riders Edmonton Facebook page and after a test coaching session immediately decided to take a couple of advanced lessons with him. His expert coaching and incredible insight into the learning process not only tremendously increased my confidence but also made my riding much safer. This was possible due to his strong teaching skills combined with patience and a super friendly personality. I strongly recommend him to anyone, new or experienced, who wants to initiate or upgrade their riding skills. Leeroy at Moto Instincts helped me select both my starter bike and and my intermediate bike, He provided valuable in sites during the purchase process and was on hand for the initial inspection and testing of both bikes. With his guidance i purchased 2 quality machines that suited my riding style and ability. Mike2025-03-18Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I met Leeroy through a Facebook group called new riders Edmonton, and I hit the jackpot! Learning to ride with him has been such a blast and a great learning experience. From day one, he made me feel at ease, even when I was fumbling with the gears. After the second lesson i felt right at home riding on the streets. His teaching style along with his very helpful booklet is super effective. He explains things in a way that just clicks, and he was very patient as I got the hang of it. What I really loved is his passion for bikes. You can tell he lives and breathes motorcycles, and that passion rubs off on you. He's made learning to ride not just about passing a test but about enjoying the whole ride and doing so safely and effectively. If you're in Edmonton and looking for an affordable instructor no matter your skill level and want someone who's knowledgeable, laid-back, and genuinely loves what they do, Leeroy (Moto Instincts) is your person. I couldn't recommend him more! M C2025-03-18Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Big thanks to Leeroy the owner of Moto Instincts!!! I took the T&T beginner course and was extremely disappointed. The class was too crowded and the instructor was nice but they basically read from a book out loud without going into explanations. I was lost and felt so confused that I wanted to give up. I was frustrated every time I rode my bike and lost my motivation to learn. Then a friend sent Leeroy to me and with in the first 2 hours, I fell in love with my bike again and got my confidence back. Another 3 hours, with him to prepare for exam and I passed my test first try! Without this guy I would have never gotten a license. I have ADHD, but he didn't give up on me. His explanations are not rushed which gives more focus on what's important for you. It was much easier to understand compared to learning in a big group, plus 1on1 was much more chill. Absolutely no stress when learning! Thanks again for the help!
