Passable Hazards refers to hazards that the rider can “pass over” with proper motorcycle control (think pot holes or sand). Chapter 4 takes a hard look at the way a motorcycle moves through the environment. Mobilizing physics knowledge and muscle memory from chapter 2, the rider is able to understand how to progress through their environment in methodical ways. Turns, hills, and threats to motorcycle traction/stability are a breeze for the rider informed on Passable Hazards.
